Rose Made Out Of Sheet Metal

Today we re going to make a metal rose without welding forging special tools and preparation.

I think it would be fun to make these from soda cans too. I just learned how to make a rose from sheet metal. It involves cutting and shaping a bunch of metal circles to make the petals and adding a 5 point metal star underneath it to make the sepal which. Instead of forging the sepals en forging the petals they are made of sheet metal.

If you use a lighter gauge metal such as 22ga then sheet metal sheers will be adequate to cut the shapes out of the steel. The materials needed for this project are scrap or non scrap metal a metal rod tools that will be used to make this project are angle grinder with cutting and grinding wheels pliers needle nose preferably bench vice arc welder with welding rods propane torch with. Trace the template on a sheet drill your holes i use a sheet metal drill bit cause it leaves very clean holes.
